new immersive live show from the Emmy Award-winning team behind Netflix’s "Our Planet" series will bring natural history to life on the local stage.

"The Making of Life on Our Planet: Dinosaurs," one installment in a new natural history speaker series, will debut locally at the Clay Center at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

The immersive live show features behind-the-scenes stories from the explorers, filmmakers, scientists, and adventurers that created some of the most eye-catching footage of our planet.

Host Barny Revill will lead audiences through the screening and conversation.

Revill has filmed in some of the most extreme corners of the world throughout his career, including on Mount Everest, deep in the Congo and even under the North Pole on a military submarine. His work includes "Animal Odd Couples" for BBC One, which has been watched by nearly 6 million people, making it one of the highest-rated documentaries in the United Kingdom.

Revill also directed many episodes of  Animal Planet's "River Monsters," which is the best-performing series in the network's history.

With a focus on climate fragility and climate migration, "The Making of Life on Our Planet" tells an unprecedented story about overcoming obstacles on a global scale and explores the messages at the heart of these action-packed, emotional, and unforgettable sequences.

“This has been a true labor of love for hundreds of filmmakers, cinematographers, conservationists, editors, musicians and production teams, all of whom have brought their best work to the most important story that there is – a story that could not be more universal or more timely,” David Attenborough, the narrator of the "Our Planet" series, said.

Tickets for "The Making of Life on Our Planet: Dinosaurs" are available now at theclaycenter.org or by calling the Clay Center’s Box Office at 304-561-3570.
