M
usic icon Vince Gill, one of the most popular and most recorded singers of the past thirty years, is bringing his vocal talent to the Kanawha Valley.
Earlier this week, Gill announced some of the dates of his "50 Years From Home" summer tour, which begins on June 18.
One of the tour stops is at the Clay Center in Charleston.
Gill's Clay Center concert is set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 23. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Jan. 30.
Other stops on the summer tour include locations in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigian and Tennesee.
Gill, a 22-time Grammy winner, has spent much of the last nine years as a touring member of the Eagles. The iconic band is currently amid a lengthy run of performances before sellout crowds at Sphere in Las Vegas. He will continue to perform with the Eagles.
To honor this 50-year career milestone of leaving home in Oklahoma to begin his career as a performer, Gill is curating a series of EPs to be released over the course of a year, thematically titled "50 Years From Home".
So far Gill has released three EPs, each featuring six brand-new songs and one previous hit: "I Gave You Everything I Had" (released October 17, 2025), "Secondhand Smoke" (released November 14, 2025) and "Brown’s Diner Bar" (released January 9, 2026).
During his tour, Gill will be joined on stage by a stellar cast of musicians.
Ticket information can be found on Gill's website.
