Cedar Grove officials seek candidates to fill town clerk position

Applications will be accepted through November 4, 2024, officials said.

he Kanawha County community of Cedar Grove is hiring a new town clerk.

Officials made the announcement Sunday.

“The job consists of processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, generating municipal bills and other duties as needed,” officials wrote in a job posting.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the ad. The employee will be paid $15 per hour.

Applications for the position may be picked up at Town Hall, located at 302 Alexandra St. in Cedar Grove. Interested candidates should return their completed applications by 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, officials said.

The town clerk position was previously held by Jessica Morris.
